Self-service petrol station payments down

Self-service payments at petrol stations across Marlborough have been impacted by a country wide outage related to today's leap year day.

The system impacts self-service payment stations, so affected manned petrol stations are asking people filling up to pay either in store or through app systems.

The fault seems to be in the Invenco payment system, which all self-service fuel terminals use - with Invenco and petrol company staff currently looking for a fix to the faults.

Fuel providers are informing customers as terminals return to normal service via their website and social media.
