Join Council’s Harbours Team for this month’s Safer Boating Workshop, focused on helping everyone enjoy Marlborough’s unique and busy waterways safely and responsibly.
This workshop is designed for all watercraft users, including boat operators, jet ski riders, paddle boarders, and kayakers.

Topics include:
• Essential pre-departure checks — what to know before you go
• Skipper responsibilities
• Practical tips for navigating Marlborough’s local conditions, rules, and waterways with confidence

Participants will also gain valuable local waterway knowledge, including what to watch for in popular areas throughout the Marlborough Sounds.

The workshop concludes with a light lunch, providing an opportunity to ask questions and connect with the Harbours Team.
