Tickets for the SJAM Gala Concert 2026 are now on sale — get yours today before they sell out

Pure Events Marlborough and the Marlborough District Council are thrilled to welcome the Southern Jam Youth Jazz Festival back to Marlborough for another unforgettable year. Even more exciting, 2026 marks Southern Jam’s 21st Birthday celebration!

To celebrate this milestone, and thanks to SOUNZ Centre for New Zealand Music, two original pieces have been specially commissioned for Southern Jam and will be performed by the All Stars Band at the Finale Gala Concert.

From 5–8 August, Marlborough will come alive with a full week of jazz, performances, and festival energy, culminating in the Finale Gala Concert on Saturday 8 August.

We encourage the community to get out and support the many public performances taking place throughout the week at local cafés, bars, and restaurants across the region — and then join us for an incredible night celebrating our talented young jazz musicians at the Gala Concert.

The concert will also feature internationally renowned musicians joining us as festival judges.
