Yard Assistant

We are looking for a Yard assistant, in a part-time role, to join our small but busy Accessman Blenheim team.

Job Summary:

*Performing daily de-hire checks on machinery returning from hire

*Cleaning and minor maintenance on both machines and vehicles

*Assisting in loading/unloading of machines, and assisting customers in the hire yard

*Maintaining yard and surrounding area as requested

*Delivering machines

*Provide dispatch and booking assistance as required

*Performing other duties that may arise as requested

*Part time (30 hrs). Hours are negotiable

 

Personal attributes:

*Enthusiasm and excellent people skills

*Initiative and self-motivation

*A practical nature with a high degree of loyalty and integrity

*Ability to work individually and as part of a team

*High level of personal grooming and hygiene

*Industry experience and class 2 truck licence advantageous, although full training may be provided
