374 new cases for region

The Ministry of Health is reporting 374 new cases of Covid-19 in Nelson Marlborough today.
9,906 cases have been announced nationwide and the seven-day rolling average is 11,281.
626 people are currently in hospital with the virus, nine of whom are in Nelson Marlborough.
The average age of those currently hospitalised is 57, and 17 people are in the ICU or HDU.
The Ministry has also announced the deaths of ten more people who had tested positive with Covid-19.
These deaths bring the country’s total number of deaths to 466.
There are 78,942 confirmed active community cases nationwide and the total number of confirmed cases over the course of the pandemic has now reached three quarters of a million people: 750,385.
