The Black Cottage Cricket Ground and Horton Park will be the venues for the New Zealand over-35 Kindred Cup cricket tournament.

On Friday and Saturday, 12 teams from around the country will play a series of Twenty20 games at those venues, culminating in a grand final at the picturesque Black Cottage ground at 4.30pm on Saturday.

Hosts will be Marlborough’s United Country and Vineyards Cricket Club. Other clubs taking part are: Ocean Beach CC, Albion CC, Greytown CC, Queens Street CC, Haberdashers CC, North Shore CC, Kaimai CC, Seddon CC, Clifton Country CC, Wellington Wanderers and The Willows CC.

The Kindred Cup has evolved as a tournament celebrated for its camaraderie and shared passion for cricket. Last year the finals were staged in Taupo.

Games begin at 10am on Friday and 9.30am Saturday.
