Single vehicle incident claims life

One person has died after a single vehicle incident this morning in Redwoodtown, Blenheim.
Police say emergency services received reports of a single vehicle crash on Lewis Street, Blenheim at around 10:45am with one person taken to Wairau Hospital.
The death was announced just before 2.30pm.
Police, Ambulance and Fire were in attendance, and the Serious Crash Unit is now in attendance.
The circumstances of the incident are under investigation, and Lewis Street will remain closed until a scene examination has been carried out.
