The Waikawa Boating Club recently held their end of season 2024/25 prize giving. The occasion was the culmination of the club’s spring, summer and autumn racing calendar, as well as club prize giving for New Year and women’s regattas.

There was a great turnout of skippers, crew and sponsors for an evening of gin tasting, fine food and music.

Waikawa Boating Club officially reopens for the 2025/2026 season on Sunday, September 28, with a fun race after the official club opening. The first race of the Marlborough Sounds Marinas Spring Twilight series will be on Tuesday, September 30, with racing every Tuesday evening until December 9. If you would like to have a go at yacht racing come along to the Waikawa Boating Club at 4.30pm on a Tuesday and there will be a skipper willing to take you out racing.
