A vibrant celebration of community, connection, and aroha has underlined Havelock’s support for its preschool during an evening marked by laughter and generosity.

Pelorus Community Preschool (Kōhungahunga o Te Hoiere), has raised  $23,196.61 for the organisation after an unforgettable Comedy Night and Auction on Saturday, October 4.

Guests were wowed by the multi-talented Brendan Dooley, before Will Porter and Bailey Dewe from Bayleys led an auction.

Board Chairperson Bonnie Jones said the organisation was “so grateful” for all involved in such a successful evening for the rural preschool”.

“The success of the evening reflects everything Pelorus Community Preschool stands for — whanaungatanga (connection), manaakitanga (care), and kotahitanga (unity).

“Brendan’s high energy performance captured the joyful, uplifting spirit that defines our preschool community while Will and Bailey from Bayleys kept the bidding fast, fun, and full of laughter, helping raise vital funds for our preschool”.
