Welcome to the whanau: Blenheim colleges greet new students

Marlborough Boys' College and Marlborough Girls' College welcomed the newest students to their campuses with separate yet consecutive mihi whakatau gatherings on Thursday morning.

Head Boy Rangatira Smith led the wero (challenge) that started MBC's ceremony which included a greeting from new Principal | Tumaki Jarrod Dunn.

An hour later, MGC Principal | Tumaki Mary-Jeanne Lynch introduced the four manutaki (senior leaders) – Piper Patrick, Sophia Nicholas, Miriana Haitana and Mareikura Nepia – who shared advice with the newcomers.
