The destination of several 2025-26 club cricket season titles will be decided over the next couple of weeks.

On Friday evening the senior and third grade Twenty20 titles are up for grabs.

On the number one ground at Horton Park senior sides and familiar foes Celtic and Wairau will do battle while, on the number three strip, third grade sides Celtic and Wairau Valley will vie for supremacy.

Wairau second grade bowler Josh Harris gets airborne as he approached the wicket during Saturday’s match against Wairau Valley Yellow. He had a good day as his side booked a place in the forthcoming 40-over final, capturing 4-22.

Three more finals are scheduled for the following week.

On Thursday, February 19, two second grade T20 finals are scheduled, both at Horton Park. In section A Celtic Green will meet Wairau Valley Blue on the number one ground, while on number three, Wairau Warriors and Renwick Roughies will chase section B honours.

Two days later, on February 21, the second grade 40-over competition will reach its climax with top qualifier Renwick meeting Wairau.

The final representative match of the season will take place on March 1 when Marlborough will travel to Nelson to vie for the Newman Shield.
