Open letter to lumber lifter

The Seddon Lions Club posted an open letter noting the loss of wood intended for elderly members of the community.

It reads:

"Just a quick note from Seddon Lions to the individual who removed a quantity of firewood from our storage area.  The firewood is intended for the support of elderly members of the Seddon community.  We have been providing this service to the Seddon community for a number of years, using the personal time and efforts of our members.

"We appreciate you may have had a need that prompted your actions and given the opportunity we may well have been sympathetic to your need. Sadly you didn’t give us that option.

"Despite your actions the Seddon Lions will work a bit harder to make up the shortfall to ensure the elderly members of our community don’t miss out on their winter warmth.

"If you are keen to help, we welcome new members. We serve - [email protected]"
