Severe Weather Watch issued for southern Marlborough

On a sunny Sunday morning in much of Marlborough, inclement weather looms in the south.
MetService issued a Severe Weather Watch for heavy rain in eastern hills and ranges between Seddon and Amberly plus strong wind in the Wairau Valley.
The rainstorm watch runs from 6pm on Sunday until 9 pm on Monday. The wind watch, for south-to-southwest gusts that may approach severe gale force in exposed places, starts at the same time and continues until 12am on Tuesday.
