In a rare occurrence for the outside instead of inside, Marlborough’s signature performance venue drew applause from a crowd of arts patrons gathered at the entrance for a rededication on Monday afternoon.

Gathered in the entryway of Whitehaven Theatre during Monday’s event are, from left, Joseph Casalme, CEO of the Marlborough Civic Theatre Trust; Kevin Moseley, Chair of the Trust; Sue White, Co-Founder of Whitehaven Wine Company; and Steve Ross, CEO of Whitehaven. Photo: Evan Tuchinsky.

Whitehaven Wine Company assumed the naming rights for what was called ASB Theatre and is now Whitehaven Theatre.

To applause, Whitehaven Co-Founder Sue White cut the ceremonial ribbon alongside Marlborough Civic Theatre Trust Chair Kevin Moseley. The two then headed into the lobby entry, where they posed for a photo with Joseph Casalme, CEO of the Marlborough Civic Theatre Trust, and Steve Ross, CEO of Whitehaven.
