Marlburians were treated to ripe, delicious beats and other sweet treats last Saturday as the inaugural Fruit Loop Festival launched at The Fancy Cow on Rapaura Road.
A stunning day welcomed attendees, and with the music stage facing north, the Wither Hills provided a stunning backdrop as the DJs got the crowd moving.

Burgers, pizza and drinks provided refreshment as the Fancy Cow staff worked to keep festivalgoers fed and hydrated.
Ticket sales were strong with around 550 of the possible 600 tickets sold based on initial scan numbers.
A good number of those were locals taking scheduled buses from Blenheim out to the venue.
“As it’s the first one, you never know quite what you’re gonna get,” Jesse North one of the organisers, told Marlborough Weekly on Monday. “But all the feedback has been so positive.”
The lineup of performers was strong from the get-go, with the energy high all day.
Internationally known DJ Dick Johnson from Auckland headlined from 8:30pm onward to the 10pm end.
“Thank you to everyone that came and supported the event,” Jesse says, including sponsors and the Fancy Cow. “We’re already in discussions looking at ways to improve on what’s been achieved for next year.”
