Marlburians will get their say on Port Marlborough improvements – specifically, $110 million in financing – through a public consultation which councillors authorised on Thursday.

In an extraordinary meeting following approval from two other agencies' boards, Council considered funding parameters for the Waitohi Ferry Redevelopment Project.

An hour of deliberations yielded a unanimous vote to collect feedback from 17 April through 19 May. The process includes three public sessions: two at Port Marlborough Pavilion in Picton (13 May, 1pm and 6pm), the other at Lansdowne Hub in Blenheim (14 May, 6pm).
