Rangers AFC continue to battle for results in the Nelson division one competition, held to a 0-0 draw by Richmond Athletic at Jubilee Park on Saturday.
Rangers had their chances to win, hitting the woodwork on three occasions and blazing over the top when presented with a one-on-one chance.
“We had our chances to win the game,” said Wolfie Waechter, “but so did they. In fact, they hit the cross bar in the last minute and could have pinched the points.
“But we did create more chances than them and dominated possession overall so we can take that out of it.”
It was a new-look Rangers side which travelled west, calling on several local club players whose game was defaulted.
Wolfie said new keeper Logan Stone did well on his debut to keep a clean sheet, while the standout player was young central midfielder Archie Campbell.
