Goal tallied
Re: “India set to take on world’s best”

What a great role model for the other young local waterpolo players India [Nathan] is. Congratulations and best of luck.
—Sonia Manson

Best wishes, India. What a wonderful achievement!
—Kim Hollis

Yes, India, what an achievement. Very proud of you. Your commitment, dedication and attitude will take you wherever you want to go. All the best to the team.

Re: “Three voices … one message” and Uncorked

Transient people moving to Picton seems weird; maybe they can move on to Blenheim and go on the homeless register at WINZ and stay at Blenheim freedom camping sites where there’s toilets and rubbish bins.

CBD redo
Re: “Addressing myth-perceptions”

I really like liquidambars, but not as streetside plantings, as they do create a mess with their “sputnik” seed balls, and I suspect they’re a tripping hazard. Having said that, mature specimens are quite expensive. Is there any chance these trees will be dug out, rather than cut down, and either sold / given to community groups or replanted in more suitable locations?

Bylaw byplay
Re: “East Coast access input opens”

Can the Council please show us any damage done below the high tide line from Marfells Beach to the end of the airstrip, because that is where the responsible people travel; and if not, leave that area as it is.
