As Daffodil Day approaches, Cancer Society Marlborough is finding new ways to support its biggest annual fundraiser.

On Saturday, the organisation launched the Daffy Dip fundraiser, with supporters diving into the Picton Foreshore waters. Participants arrived dressed for the occasion in bright yellow tutus, T-shirts and shorts, with several also sporting yellow Daffy Caps.

Cancer Society Marlborough general manager Pippa Hatton was delighted with the inaugural Marlborough Daffy Dip.

“We are so grateful for any and all support, what a fun event and fantastic weather to kick off our fundraising efforts ahead of Daffodil Day at the end of this month (28 August), I can’t wait for it to be even bigger next year.”
