Roadhouse breakfast helps fuel rescue helicopter

Riverlands Roadhouse is getting Father’s Day underway with a breakfast fundraiser for the Nelson Marlborough Rescue Helicopter on Sunday, September 6.

Petrolheads and enthusiasts can start the day with hot cars, bikes and a good breakfast, with coffee from Steve and Flora’s Hotdogs serving bacon butties and hotdogs from 8am to 11am.

The morning will then continue with a cruise to Pelorus Tavern for its annual Show and Shine at the Trout Hotel. The Show and Shine will feature live music, raffles and spot prizes, with prize-giving at 1.30pm.

Donations for the Nelson Marlborough Rescue Helicopter will be collected at the Roadhouse, with the community invited to come along for breakfast before joining the cruise.

It’s a chance to enjoy some impressive cars and bikes, grab some breakfast and support a vital local service along the way.
