Music enthusiasts in Marlborough were treated to performances by the acclaimed Amber Quartet, China's premier chamber musicians, last week.

The “Art of Collaboration” series showcased the musical talent with a diverse repertoire.

The performance was a highlight of the ongoing celebrations marking the 10th anniversary of the strategic partnership between New Zealand and China.

Both shows saw audiences enjoy the music with standing ovations given at the end to much applause.

Local Chinese musicians and children also performed “Pōkarekare Ana”, creating lasting memories for the Quartet and the audience.
