Brave Marlburians will tackle the chilly Picton Foreshore water at midday this Sunday for the annual Mid-Winter Swim.
The swim, aptly sponsored by Cuddon Refrigeration and Air Conditioning, and More FM, sees many take a dip during one of the shortest days of the year.
The annual event also includes an always competitive best dressed competition, where pirates, soldiers, fairies and clowns take the plunge into the Queen Charlotte Sound
However, with all entries in to win an incredible range of prizes - including a brand new Mitsubishi Standard GS25 High Wall Heat Pump from Cuddon, a Kids Fly Motocross Helmet from Marlborough Motorcycles, a Mitchell Sports $100 voucher, a Nature's Feel Check Merino Wool Blanket from Versatile Blenheim and a GWM Permanent Bracelet valued at $125 – organisers hope to see plenty of people keen on a Sunday dip.
