Picton Christmas parade spreads smiles

The sun shone and there was plenty to smile about as Picton celebrated its annual Christmas Parade on Sunday.
People lined the streets along the town centre to cheer on those taking part in the popular parade which is again sponsored by Marlborough Lines.
With tinsel galore, Santa hats and even a visit from the big man himself, there was plenty to keep people entertained.
For those who didn’t get a chance to chat to Santa in person, there is a special letter box outside The Picton Book Shop for Christmas wishes.
