Two happy customers have been surprised with spot prizes by supporting local businesses.
Taking part in the Marlborough Weekly's popular Shop & Win competition, Chris Brydon and Julie Morris picked up spot prizes from Bikes and Scooters and Cerise.
And sometimes when it comes to winning, timing is everything.
Bikes and Scooters' owner Chris Lang pulled out Chris Brydon’s Shop & Win entry on Friday to win a spot prize - while customer Chris was already in the store.
Chris, who’s an avid cyclist, had brought his bike in for a checkup and was in need of a new set of 27 inch tyres, which the Bikes & Scooters were happy to provide as a spot prize to a loyal customer.
At popular homeware and gift shop Cerise, another Shop & Win customer was rewarded for shopping local.
Emma Tempest, on behalf of her mother Julie Morris, picked up the Cerise Shop & Win spot prize pack.
The special prize pack was filled with a variety of goodies just in time for Christmas, with locally designed tea towels, delicious smelling candles and luxurious Linden Leaves bath and body products.
“Mum loves Cerise, so she was so happy to find out she had not only won something, but won from her favourite store," says Emma.
Shop at any of these store by December 1 and be in to win.
