Fire crews have rushed to Pollard Park to extinguish a well involved vehicle blaze.

There are no injuries and two Blenheim fire units have the fire, next to the tennis courts on Parker Street, under control.

Fire and Emergency shift manager Andrew Norris says the fire isn’t being treated as suspicious.

“It’s most likely mechanical or electrical,” he told the Marlborough App.

Andrew says the vehicle, a Toyota Previa (also known as an Estima), was well involved when fire crews arrived.

Police were called to the blaze at 9.45 this morning, and a police spokeswoman says they're not treating the fire as suspicious.

The car has now been towed.
