SHIPLEY, Marie Agnes (nee Bary)

Passed away peacefully at Maxwell Life Care on Monday 22^nd December 2025, in her 94^th year.

Beloved wife of the late Norm.

Cherished Mum, and mother-in-law of Kay and Phil, Bruce and Angela, and the late Trish.

Treasured Grandma to her many grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great, great grandchildren.

Loved sister of Kevin, Frances, Basil (deceased), Trevor (deceased), and Peter (deceased), and their families.

Special thanks to the staff who took care of Marie in her final days. In lieu of flowers, donations to Alzheimer's Marlborough would be greatly appreciated and can be made via 02-0600-0112284-00 (Alzheimers Marlborough).

A service to celebrate Marie’s life will be held in the Sowman’s Mayfield Chapel on Saturday 27^th December at 10am followed by interment at Fairhall Cemetery. Marie's service will also be livestreamed and accessed via the www.sowmans.co.nz/upcoming funerals
