BOFELT: Birgite (née Naslund)

Passed away at Wairau Hospital, Blenhiem on 3 March 2026 aged 86.

Loved mother of John, mother-in-law of Kim, grandmother of Amielle and Jaylen. Loved sister of Eric and Ann Marie (both in Sweden). Loved mother of the late Anders and late partner Graeme Kumar and a friend to many.

She will be missed.

Thanks to her many friends for the warmth and joy that they have brought over the years. Thanks to the wonderful staff at Springsland Lifestyle Village and Wairau Hospital for their support over the years.

A service for Birgite will be held at the Springlands Chapel, Cloudy Bay Funeral Services, 15 Boyce Street Blenheim on Friday 6 March at 12pm followed by private cremation.
