On Thursday 5th March 2026, George passed peacefully at Maxwell Lifecare, in his 99th year.

Dearly loved husband of the late Mary.

Loved father of Stephen, Susan, Paul & Julie.  

Much loved Grandad of Cottia, Kyle, Harmony, Anna, Holly and Daniel

You will be greatly missed by all of us.

Thanks to the wonderful care of the Maxwell Lifecare team, your efforts greatly helped during George's final days.  

A service will be held at the Sowman's Mayfield Chapel on Wednesday 11th March at 10:30am, followed by a private burial.
