MCNICHOLL, Ann Marie

Born in Timaru in 1954. Much-loved daughter of the late Noel and Dolcie. Devoted mother to Stuart, Scott, and the late Annella, and proud Nan to Mia, Matai, Maisy, Breeze, Grayson, Cade, Izzak, and Levi.

Ann was a dedicated teacher who spent many years supporting people with special needs.
She had a lifelong love of the outdoors and adventure, from travelling New Zealand in her youth to tramping the South Island with her children—memories that will be forever cherished.
Ann faced significant loss throughout her life with a quiet strength and resilience, yet always maintained a positive outlook. She found joy in travel, kapa haka, and rowing, achieving success in competitions across New Zealand and Australia.
Loved and respected by many as a mother, Nan, teacher, mentor, and friend.

A service to celebrate Ann’s life will be held at the Springlands Chapel, Cloudy Bay Funeral Services, 15 Boyce Street on Wednesday 15th April at 2pm followed by private cremation.
