GIFFORD, Russell Harold

GIFFORD, Russell Harold - On May 25th 2026. Peacefully at home, aged 85 years. 

Dearly loved husband and best friend of Lois; loved, respected and admired father and father-in-law of Jane and Jonathan, Keren and Mea, and Fiona. Much loved Grandad and Garand of Elfie, Eddie, Nate, Nosa, Deborah, Max, Zara, Katy, and Cass. Brother and bother-in-law of Ruth and Claude (both deceased), Rosie and Gav (deceased), and Max and Marita. 

A friend, walking companion, teacher, and craftsman to many.

Special thanks to Dr Vinny Karunasekera, Nurse Maude Hospice nurses and staff, and the various medical teams who have helped Russell over the years.

Russell’s request was for a private family service and a Memorial Service in the coming weeks. In lieu of flowers, donations to City Mission can be made at Russell’s Memorial Service.
