KAWHARU, Rose Caroline (Carol)

Passed away on Sunday, May 24, 2026 (at her happy place, D'urville Island), in her 97th year. Dearly loved wife of the late Jim. Loved mother and mother-in-law of Robyn and Greg Brown; Dyne and Dave Reece (both dec); Lauren Kawharu and Roger Turnbull; Paul and Sophia-Jane Kawharu. Carol was an adored grandmother, great-grandmother and great-great grandmother, and a loved and respected aunty of her nieces and nephews. Loved by her pet dog and companion, Jack.
