Passed away at Hospice Marlborough on Thursday, June 11, 2026 aged 74 years.

Dearly loved partner of Rod Lucas. Loved mother and mother-in-law of Paula and Grant Bowden, Bayden and Leanna Sprozen, and Rod’s family Donna and Gary Phillips, and Michael and Aly Lucas.

A service for Shirley will be held at Springlands Chapel, Cloudy Bay Funeral Services, Boyce Street Springlands Blenheim, on Tuesday, 16 June 2026 at 10:00am followed by a private family interment at Tua Marina Cemetery.
