Dearly loved and devoted wife of the late Rex Burrows and dearly loved mother of John, Alan and Karen. Loved and respected mother-in-law of Liz and Jennifer.
Loved grandmother of five grandchildren and old “Nanny” to her great-grandchildren.

A Funeral service for Marie will be held at St Mary's (Star of the Sea) Parish, 59 Maxwell Road, Blenheim at 2.00pm on Friday, June 19, 2026, followed by a private cremation.

The family would like to extend a special thanks to Dr. Emily Marfell, Dr. Ros Gellatly and the staff at Redwood Retirement Village.
