Passed away peacefully on Tuesday 11 August 2026, at Hospice Marlborough.

Deeply loved 2IC, husband, and soulmate of Mara.

Much loved stepfather, brother and brother-in-law.

Thank you to my amazing group of friends and family (you know who you are), Hospice Marlborough, MND team from Wairau and Nelson Hospital, and Community Care Pharmacy. Please accept my apologies for any I have forgotten. For the messages, phone calls, love, flowers, food etc, thank you is just not enough.

A very casual Gav style sendoff is at Redwood Tavern, 1pm on 24th August.
