Joy left us peacefully on 20 August 2026, aged 76 years.

Dearly loved wife of Lawrence. Loved and treasured mother and mother-in-law of Rachael and Alex, Wendy and Gareth, and Helen and Dean. Adored Nana of Lexi, Ben, Grace, Liam, Ollie and Caelan. Daughter of the late Geoff and Phyllis Neal, and loved sister to Dawn and Phillip.

A celebration of Joy’s life will be held at St Andrew’s Presbyterian Church, Henry Street, Blenheim on Tuesday 25 August at 2pm, followed by private cremation.
