Betty Ann Matthews (Adams) aged 73 passed away peacefully in Nelson on Monday November 2nd 2024.

Betty was the much loved wife of Leslie Matthews and mother to Michelle and Theresse. And sister to Huck, Chris, Brett and Nicola.

A service honouring Betty’s life will be held for her family and friends at the Wakapuaka Cemetery Chapel at 12pm on Monday 9th of November.

Walking into your kitchen

Enveloped by the smoky haze

And fascinated at how you would entertain yourself

A cheeky sense of humour

Mischievous

A rebel at the core

The best kind

What better way to choose to live

Then to be unapologetically you.
