Passed away at Nelson Tasman Hospice with Sally at his side on Monday April 7, 2025 aged 69 years.

Loved husband of Sally and loved Kel to Sally’s children, Lauren, Brendan, and Ashleigh. Loved Grandad Kel of Bastion, and Ben.  Loved brother of Sharyn Clarke, and Jude Kelly. Father of Danielle, and Andre.

A southern man through and through, time to spread your wings and fly again – fly free.

A service to celebrate John’s life will be held in his shed, 1 Red Stag Lane, Redwood Valley at 2pm on Tuesday 15 April followed by private cremation.
