FERNE: Sonya Jean (Crocombe)

On 1 August 2025, peacefully at Ashwood Park Rest Home, aged 79 years.  

Dearly loved mother of Sharlene Love (Wellington) and Keith Crocombe (Blenheim).  Loved Nana of Ferne and Ben.  A loved and respected guitar teacher of her many students.

In accordance with Sonya’s wishes, a private cremation has taken place.  You are welcome to attend a celebration of Sonya’s life  at the Mercy Chapel, St Mary’s Parish, Maxwell Road, Blenheim on Monday 11 August at 11.00am.
