Cricket rivals line up

The Marlborough senior men’s rep cricket side has been named to play Nelson in a Hawke Cup qualifying match at Horton Park this weekend.

Marlborough won their first two-day zone three clash, beating Buller outright a fortnight ago, while Nelson lost on the first innings to Canterbury Country.

Marlborough: Sam Boyce, Lachie Munro (WK), Kirk Nicholas (non-bowl), Andrew McCaa, Corey Bovey, Luke Holdaway, Joel Lavender, Sam Young, Griffin Carter, Luke Pannell, Jaden Adams, Archie Cornelius (non-bat).

Nelson: Carl Quinn, Jonty Raxworthy, Finn Restieaux, Jack Aldridge, Mike Olsen, Sam John, Sean Neal, Kaleb McKay, Harry Restieaux, Jared Silvester, Matthew O’Sullivan, Cameron Neame.

Play begins at 10.30am both days.
