Premier hockey action

Arotea Kiwi and Beawai came out on top during the latest round of premier hockey, played at the College Park turf on Saturday afternoon.

Kiwi accounted for Marlborough Boys’ College First XI 7-0 in the early match, then Beawai Men downed United 2-1 in a tightly-fought contest.

In division one, which is contested on Friday, Beawai accounted for Arotea Kiwi 4-0, Beawai Masters downed The Bus Boys 2-0 while Marlborough Girls’ College 1^stXI drew 0-0 with Awatere.

In the popular college grade, played on Thursday, Richmond View beat Bohally Combined 5-0, the MBC 2^ndXI downed Kaikoura 5-0 and the MGC 2^nd XI beat Arotea College 6-2.
