The depth of talent and varied achievements of the 31 nominees made the work of the 2021 Marlborough Sports Awards judging panel particularly hard this year.
Although the annual awards dinner had to be cancelled due to Covid concerns, judging took place across all five categories, with an overall Sportsperson of the Year chosen from those category winners.
